Wheel Alignment

How often you have your car wheels aligned will depend on various factors such as your driving habits and the conditions you drive in. Most manufacturers will recommend wheel alignment roughly every 6,000 miles. Other options are having the wheels aligned every time your car comes in for a service or oil change, and certainly after a collision or if you’ve had the tyres replaced. These are signs to look out for that mean that your wheels might need alignment:

• Your car is pulling to one side
• Uneven tyre wear
• The steering wheel is off-centre when you’re driving straight
• Your tyres screech or squeal when the car turns
• Your car feels unstable or like it’s vibrating
